Seeds germinated: Dark VS Light

In class, we planted some green peas and kidney beans in a plastic cup. We predict that we think the beans in the cupboard will not grow. And the beans we left outside will grow strong and healthy. We left it for a few weeks. After, we took them out and see, the ones in the cupboard did grow, but they aren't as healthy as the ones outside sitting in the sun. The cup board beans were growing in any directions and some of the stems are starting to turn brown as in "rotting", the stems are also in pail white colored.

our prediction:
1. It won't really grow in the dark.
2. The stems aren't as strong as the ones under the sunlight.
3. They won't be looking as healthy as the ones outside.

The other group which had the seeds growing outside, there is a BIG difference between 2 seeding groups results. The outside one has bigger leaves, thicker stems and looking healthier. The seeds got their energy from 2 different places, 1: water 2: sunlight. The stems are in bright green colored, and the leaves are also in bright green colored.

Conclusion: The differences between both plants are:
1. different sources of energy.
2. different places been set.

And the result of course is different. But our prediction about the cup board seeds won't grow is wrong, they do grow!
