THE ARROW MAKES IT LOOK LIKE THE ORGANIC MATTER GETS ITS ENERGY FROM PLANTS. I THINK THIS IS A LITTLE WRONG. THE ORGANIC MATTER IS JUST THE DEAD MATTER THAT IS BEING CONSUMED BY THE DECOMPOSERS. THE FUNGI ARE DECOMPOSERS. THE NEMATODES ARE CALLED DETRIVORES AND THEIR JOB IS ALSO TO DECOMPOSE. THERE IS ANOTHER DECOMPOSER OF THE DEAD MATTER. IT STARTS WITH A "B". WHAT IS IT?
3.Arthropods, nematodes and birds are the high order consumers.
AND "ANIMALS"
4.fungi and bacteria are the decomposer's. THAT'S RIGHT!
5.The dead bodies of organism will become organic matter after they died. GOOD.
